What size stage do I need to rent to accommodate the band?
At Rainier Sound Systems this is one of the most common questions we are asked by clients and event professionals. There are many factors that need to be taken into consideration.
1. We will need the exact dimensions of the stage size requirements written into our performance contract. Many bands have a preferred stage size but are able to perform on a small stage if room size doesn't allow for their preferred size. Most bands will require a stage to be a minimum of 12' deep in order to accommodate their necessary equipment.
2. Below is a suggested minimum stage size for musical groups
Solo Performance - 8' x 4'
2 Piece Band - 12' x 8'
3 Piece Band - 16' x 12'
4 Piece Band - 20' x 16'
5-7 Piece Band - 20' x 20'

Avid Eleven Rack:
Massive Tone Anywhere. Take your favorite studio tones live onstage. Not only does the DSP in the Eleven Rack make it an exceptional recording tool, but it also features a hi-Z output, so you can hook it up directly to the input of your favorite amplifier. Set up your favorite effects conveniently in your studio, and then take them with you onstage. Need to change effects or tweak settings live? No problem! You can assign important settings to the Eleven Rack's front panel controls, access settings from the hardware, or hook up a MIDI foot pedal to control effects as you play.
"Live" Event Package Pricing:
The venue/location/event will determine what sound/PA/lighting equipment will be necessary to meet your requirements. We will need to know the venue location or the outdoor location, and the projected number of guests will be needed to accurately determine what equipment will be necessary for the event. If you have a "Rider" for your band, then please forward that to us for review.
Note: All package pricing is based on a (4) hour time duration. You are NOT charged for setup or breakdown time.
If, there is a need for a time extension, please let us know. If, a time extension becomes necessary from the venue, no problem, we can do that! Time extensions are billed at $50.00 - $265.00 per hour, depending on size of venue package.
Any recording or internet broadcasting would be an additional fee. Please inquire, if you are interested in those services for your event.
Small Venue Band Package:
This would be for small bar/events/club/parties (25-250 guests) $150.00 - $250.00 This is a 3-hour package (add $50.00 outside of 30 mile radius). See below for package details. Fog (If allowed by venue). We do not ask for any share of "tips/merchandise sales". This is a flat rate fee for our services. Our "Live" audio recording package is discounted 25%. See below for package details.
Medium Venue Band Package:
This would be for medium size events (275- 475 guests) $275.00 - $500.00 This is a 3-hour package (add $75.00 outside of a 30 mile radius), including fog and lights. We do not ask for any share of "tips/merchandise sales". This is a flat rate fee for our services. Please ask for an individual event services' contract and a free quote. Additionally, our "Live" audio recording package is discounted 50%.
Small/Medium Venue Sound Band package:
JBL powered system to accommodate the venue/guest size.
Large Venue Band Sound Package:
This would be for any large size events, music festivals, concerts, etc... This does not include any backline pricing. We would need to know your specific requirements to price out a backline quote for you. (greater than 500 guests). Starting at $950.00*
*Must be pre-arranged at a MINIMUM of 120 days (4 months) in advance of the venue date. Some venue's locations may require more than 180 days (6 months). Pricing is dependent on venue needs. Ask for a free estimate.
